Your Mission: Expert Repairs and Preventative Maintenance
As a Service Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose mechanical issues on a variety of heavy equipment.
- Repairs: Perform repairs, following manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
- Pre-Delivery Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections on new equipment before delivery to customers.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Tool Utilization: Use basic shop tools and adhere to safe shop practices.
- Training and Development: Complete manufacturer training and demonstrate proficiency in repairing different types of equipment.
- Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical (12v) and hydraulic schematics.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain an organized and safe work area and shop tools.
- Team Player: Being able to work with the team and other co-workers.
The Ideal Candidate: Skills and Experience
We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated technician with:
- Mechanical Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of mechanical experience, with a preference for experience in repairing 12-volt electrical systems.
- Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required. A CDL is a plus.
- Maintenance Experience: Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance.
- Hydraulics Knowledge: Knowledge of hydraulics and the ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
- Fabrication/Welding (Plus): Fabrication and welding experience is considered a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork: A willingness to be a team player.
- Drug Test/Background Check: Must pass a drug test and background check.
