WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
The Assistant Controller is a senior level accounting professional who supports the finance department by managing accounting operations. This position requires the ability to multi-task multiple complex transactions within various software programs and plan and execute department projects as assigned.

Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting processes
Manage all aspects of the general ledger for various companies
Work directly with the Controller and Management and responsible for having a thorough understanding of financial transactions and reporting requirements
Perform monthly reconciliations of various accounts
Audit and enter expense reports
Assist with financial statement preparation and monthly close processes
Maintain fixed assets
Providing financial analysis and support to business leaders
Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets
Respond to information requests and prepare documentation for external audits
Assist with payroll preparation
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ABILITIES?
Working knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong financial analysis skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Team player
High level accounting knowledge
DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE?
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
3+ years previous experience as an accountant, assistant controller, or in a similar role
Experience with an ERP preferred Net Suite experience a plus
